A peanut though is not a nut (it's actually a legume) so the warning must be on the packet if it is packed in a factory that handles nuts.I agree with the Op manufacturers should be responsible if we're taken ill after eating their products. I'm going to go to a solicitor on Monday morning to see can i sue KP, i was violently sick last night after eating a packet of peanuts, and there was no warning on the wrapper saying 'may contain nuts'. How was i expected to know, i'm with you Op they should have told you that chickens have bones.:footie:

I didn't know that. Maybe it wasn't the peanut that made me sick, i wonder if it was one of the 16 pints i drank.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I would go back to the pub in question tonight and ask for a free replacement for each of the 16 pints that you had last night.:beer:I didn't know that. Maybe it wasn't the peanut that made me sick, i wonder if it was one of the 16 pints i drank.:footie:

I am not the sort of person who agrees with our spiralling litigation culture, but i do feel i should be entitled to some compensation
Don't you just love it when people post such contradictions, wonder if they will go to bed dreaming of thousands in compensation.

While “nut” is in their name, peanuts are in fact legumes. Peanuts actually grow underground, as opposed to nuts like walnuts, almonds, etc. that grow on trees

I actually LoL'd at this thread.
I agree you deserve compensation OP, from your parents for bringing you up so poorly to not realise that animals have bones in them.
I am surprised no-one has called troll thread, so I am the first.Thinking critically since 1996....0
