A question for you Elite, please. I'm currently trying to put together a programme of music for a Jubilee event. I'll be doing some more up-tempo stuff in the afternoon and a Last Night of The Proms sing along at the end, but I'm looking for some nostalgic numbers to sing while everyone's having their lunches. I'm calling the slot "Songs of Time & Place", and I'm particularly looking for songs that either epitomise a point in British history/music or mention a British place name in their title. Ones I've thought of include "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square", "Scarborough Fair", "Penny Lane", and Kate Bush's "Lionheart". Has anyone got any thoughts or suggestions? A friend is going to do a couple of war time numbers. Thanks :)

Morning all. Went out yesterday and kept coming across pink baby stuff. Feels strange to long for something that never even existed. Have to get it through my thick skull that I'm having a little boy rather than a little girl. I'll love him to bits of course, but had all these images in my head of another daughter.

I think what doesn't help is that the other half won't let me buy any boy stuff in case something goes wrong. Or in case the 80% chance of a boy turns into a little girl (from the scan highly unlikely I think). I'll probably buy a few bits later on the sly.

Already have a 12 month+ bath toy that I picked up for £1.
