Just been looking - there is AT LEAST another 6 olympic torches on Ebay! All going for ridiculous sums! Surely you would want to keep something like that for the grandkids?

  • Hello Everyone, Have been reading back through this thread and it's facinating reading.

As my DS2 (also lovingly known as my pension) will be moving out soon I thought I would set him a little challenge. He has never done the shopping on his own before so to give him a little practice I gave him a budget of £50 to use on-line and explained to him this should buy enough easily for our family for the week.

After my day out, I returned home to find the delivery had arrived, here is what I found:-

 I said the order had to last us for the week, he replied that it would probably last him a week. I think a bit more practice is needed. As for putting it in the bath, he did not think I would notice it there as we all use the shower. After searching through the cupboards, it turned out he did actually buy some food as well - just 2 boxes of crunchy nut that he was going to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After his finals I will have to walk him round Mr. T for further instructions.:rotfl:
