Good morning:)!The date on the Welch's voucher is 31 July, but dont know how long the offer is on at £1.29.
If you were going specially, I would try to go in the morning when the store opens - every time I have been in the mornings on the way to work, they have stocked up overnight. When I have gone after work, the shelf is always empty. When I went in today around lunch, there was none left, HTH
Sainsbury's -bought the juggit&bagged milk( Thank you for posting it frequent)on the way out found £1.13 bm voucher, so happy bunny.
2nd Tesco - found the right Welch's:j:j, clip - strip with the easy peelers(thanks to op), another 1p item, made friends with the "whoopsie" man, so went straight to the self checkout. I was so happy with my whoopsies and the peelers, that I forgot to use the voucher.Again:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Going out and laughing at myself wombled 2receipts - 37pts and 42pts.:) So probably no spend day for me:rotfl:...reality is a point of view...0 -
A question for you Elite, please. I'm currently trying to put together a programme of music for a Jubilee event. I'll be doing some more up-tempo stuff in the afternoon and a Last Night of The Proms sing along at the end, but I'm looking for some nostalgic numbers to sing while everyone's having their lunches. I'm calling the slot "Songs of Time & Place", and I'm particularly looking for songs that either epitomise a point in British history/music or mention a British place name in their title. Ones I've thought of include "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square", "Scarborough Fair", "Penny Lane", and Kate Bush's "Lionheart". Has anyone got any thoughts or suggestions? A friend is going to do a couple of war time numbers. Thanks
How about angelic upstarts "England"
Great Lyrics!!

Nikki, you've reminded me I'd better do some cooking today. Currently working my way through the European potato mountain from when they had the extra 50 points on, and there's various other things lurking that need cooking up and freezing.

Thanks to FloFlo, Mrs B, Caz2703 and locarr (not sure I can do punk, lol, though I agree about the lyrics
:)). All great suggestions, I'll have to see what I can do in terms of getting or making BTs. Keep 'em coming, guys :T

That's a great suggestion RootedNomad, especially because to me that Mary Hopkins song just epitomises sitting watching TOTP on a Thursday evening (Ooh I'm old!) and I think my voice would run to that one. Thanks! :AHope is not a strategy.0 -

I know 2 managers in 1 store last week didnt know what the price check voucher was said they had not heard about the scheme which has been going on for over a year . was not willing to accept it.
Well IMO thats either pathetic training or they were lying to you so they didn't have to take the coupon. Personally I'd find out their names and report them to the CEO's office. How can a manager be worth 30-40k a year if he doesnt even know his own companies basic policies???0 -
