    Morning all :)

small people in this house seem to have turned their volume up to 11.

Brum down south, you must be near me... I got brave yesterday and asked two T's managers when on earth we were going to get some flop brochures- especially as the vouchers have been valid since last Wednesday. and they didn't know what they were!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

anyone know if I can print them??? We're clean out of fruit for the week... but we may just eat what gets whoopsied later today! :D
    Enjoy Sunday!
I know 2 managers in 1 store last week didnt know what the price check voucher was said they had not heard about the scheme which has been going on for over a year . was not willing to accept it.

I will actually be going to a couple of Ts today, not to buy but to return stuff collected over the last couple of weeks. Does anyone else have a pile of returns that need to be phased in subtly over a period of time? Just when I think I am winning something else adds to the pile. Today I want to offload some DTD wine and Disney DVDs - all acquired with goldies, and I am in dire need of a cash injection, so it is a very nice problem to have. In my pile is stuff to return to S and Boots too - I think I now have some very complex and unhealthy shopping habits :D

I seem to have a total inability to enter a T store spontaneously just to purchase "normal" shopping - really can't imagine that ever happening now :).

I wonder if any 9 packs will scan cheap as there is only 8 packs on mysupermarket?
They may do. I think someone suggested it's all the 9 packs that are old and new ones are 8.
I found lots of them but no SEL. Bought one and came back for more, the lady behind me commented how good a price that is so I told her where I found them. She sent her daughter and the daughter brought 4 packs so she asks her daughter 'Don't you want more?" so the daughter had to go back:rotfl: for more!
It's nothing like 1p chocolate from Tesco
but I haven't found any recently and I love orange chocolate so good price in my opinion :)

We have rested a lot today, especially Alan. I got up for half an hour when Niece's OH came round with the girls at 11am but then went back to bed. We slept till 12.30pm and only got up then coz my brother was calling here about 1.30pm :o When he came, he updated us on Mam doing ok some shouting but still eating well, talks about the world she is in at times but back with us at others and then we chatted until I drove him home at 3.30pm. Alan went back to bed then and I went down to see Mam for 4.30pm

Mam was talking to her white bear when I got to her room. I asked her is she knew who I was and she said no. I said it's Susan and she shook her head in confusion and said no. We talked for a while and she was happy enough. They brought her dinner, which was soup and sandwiches, and she ate theat no bother. They'd had a SALT meeting last week and decided that she could now have moist sandwiches with crusts cut off, and proper veg if it was soft instead of having it pureed, but couldn't have ice cream or cream as it stuck in her throat. I don't know where that came from as ice cream is her favourite and slides down her throat lovely

By now she was talking about 'my Dad' so I assumed she knew who I was by then. She asked me if 'my man' was at work but I told her he was at home in bed all day as he wasn't well. She kept asking me is 'my man' was at work, or worked on Sundays but I said no. I made us both a cup of tea and sang her my usual 'I like a nice cup of tea in the morning' as we drank them which she remembered

When I left I gave her my normal 4 kisses which we count out one by one, and said I had to go feed Alan but would be back tomorrow and she said 'Eeee, thank you ever so much for coming, it was lovely to see you'

I got back about 7pm and Alan had just got up, so we watched the cricket highlights and now are watching the Champions League Final. Just had a frozen pizza for dinner - cooked of course ;)

Alan is feeling much better now and wants to get out and about tomorrow, but I had told my brother that I would do the lunch and dinner visiting tomorrow to see Mam and give him a break. So Alan is going to drop me at the home at 12noon and go down to see his Dad

Back to catching up now ............ with one eye on the footie

3dogs, that made me well up :(

You really are a lovely, caring person. What a wonderful daughter and wife you are! I'm sure you are valued by all who know you :)

    Good morning to everyone :)

Westvleteren, hope you got a good nights sleep! Although you were on here late, and also online early, so not sure much sleep happened!

Good luck with all the returns RootedNomad. I can fully understand the lack of normal shopping, I seem to rarely do that too!

Only one price check out of 4, gave anything back, but at least I had one that was in my favour!

Welcome Ellzx, you'll soon be wombling :)

Will have to go to T's early today, Discovery shelf was clear last night, and there's a £3 WYS voucher needing to be used today.

Squigs, hope the triathalon brings you extra business today at the kiosk.

    Have a good day everybody.

    But where is everybody???

Early start for me today at the ice cream kiosk.

A big triathalon is taking place in my town today and my kiosk is where the start of it is, so lots of people around from 7 am, plus the sun is shining, so hopefully I might just have a busy day today.:)
So far this year, because of the appalling weather. trade has been dreadful.:(:(

Thank goodness for glitches and coupons to help me get by and to all you wonderful Elite for all the information!

Hope the whether stays warm over there. The sun has gone here in Poulton. Anyway of I go to prepare for today's Great Manchester Run
