I really think this thread has got to the point where the Mods need to make a call on its viability and decide whether it is in keeping with the spirit of the site. There have ALWAYS been 'secret society's' set up on various forums - usually they start out with good intentions ie trying to stop lurkers/hangers on/greedy s*** etc from stripping the shelves of every single bargain before anyone else gets a chance.

And it never really works cos before long the squabbling/backbiting/!!!!!ing over who has been given the secret password and who knows how to do the 'handshake' starts. It happened over on PTS, it certainly caused all sorts of arguments in the DTD days and its just the same now.

I did join the original FB site - but got booted out during an early cull - but I haven't a clue who is on which site. I can't even keep up with who's who on here with all the name changes! I can't say I lie awake at night worrying why I got kicked out and I certainly don't lose any sleep over whether anyone else has got any bargains that I haven't found. I can't say I like the unpleasantness over it all though.
