Ruxpin you can go to the postoffice and they take a pic of you and scan the form too. They send it off via email to dvla, costs £24.50 for this service (includes the £20 fee + £4.50 for photo and sending secure)
Should get licencse back quicker this way too. I just had to do it as mine expired yesterday

    No, not a member lol.

I guess I just wish this thread would focus on the more positive aspects, ie helping people to save money, lending a sympathetic ear in times of need... the sort of thing that's mentioned on the very first post, and less on the negative (lurkers, Facebook, and of course, everybody's favourite punching bag, the 'Wenban clan').

Its good maths but actually what leaves your bank account that day is £21 (unless you have a JTD voucher from a previous shop to lower the total).

The £18.90 JTD is what you will have for your next shopping trip that is if the JTD machine is fully working :D

There is also the problem of getting hold of 14 magazines and a store with 14 cartons in stock in which case you need a back up shopping list

And having somewhere to store 14 cartons that is not already full of socks and chocolate :)

I have a £5 wys £40 (from Manchester Evening News last week ... but I believe quite a few wombles have a few stacks)

I also have about 20 odd magazines (nobody seems to be taking them in my local and I just pick up a few each time I'm in).

Up to now I've been buying the £1.29ers and these have been restocked quite well ... the £2.49ers never seem to move and have always been fully stocked ... buty not for much longer :)

I must admit the only flaw in my whole plan is the flakey JTD  ... since discovering APG my 'loyalities' have been elsewhere :rotfl:

To be honest the Wenban's don't get mentioned that often, there was quite a bit when the Tv Prog was on & then her son was swearing at everyone but a couple of weeks ago she did post on here herself. Me I still think she's angling for a book deal & the thing that really gets me from the programme is she was just using other peoples ideas from here &HUKD & claiming they were her own

    Seconded and agree

Nope, but I guess it's easy for you to label me as such just because I have different views from you.

When I bought a hayfever nasal spray today I got a free goody bag from the pharmacy. It contains a packet of tissues, a couple of teabags and a Maxi Muscle protein strawberry milk shake. Also MOC £1 off Oatabix 30p off any pure spread and £1 off £5 spend on your next pharmacy purchase. They were hidden away out at the back of the pharmacy..

Just to add on the pharmacy MOC - It also says 'or the health care isle'. I didn't spot that until 2 week after getting the MOC.
I bought some £6 heat muscle rub and went through normal checkout. This compared to A's at £4.49 so an extra for JTD.
