Perhaps someone could try this too- went in Asda this morning have a buy 3 Kingsmill products get free sandwich tray. I got 2 x 50/50 loaves and some barm/batch total £3. I used 2 x 50/50 pdf vouchers also. The tray was charged at £1 but at the bottom of the reciept it took £2 off.

    2 x 50/50 Loaves
    1 x 50/50 Barm/Batch
    £3 - 2 x 30p coupons = £2.40p
    - £1 extra taken off for the tray
    £1.40p

    Xx Have Nice Day xX

    Thank you Sinw

Trip to see G n R didn't quite go as planned, took a leisurely drive up stopped at a couple of T's on the way no socks, no wombles

Had something to eat then checked into hotel I've never been to such a big Premier Inn but it looked nice the bar was next to reception & I could see there was football on the TV a group of lads looked really taken aback when I started to talk to them about it :rotfl::eek:

Nice room, noticed barely no toilet paper, so I rang down for some then I noticed when I paid for the wifi I was given a receipt for another room with a surname similar to mine.

I hadn't recovered from the Spanish Inquistion as to why if I was the sole occupant of the room I insisted on a double not a twin, did she think I was going to pull at the concert :rotfl::eek:

I purposely waited till 8 to go to the venue as it was only 10mins away nice chaps on the car park found me a good space because of my blue badge. Inside the LG I was desperately trying to find a Tv to watch Eurovision or failing that the England game, sadly LG were demonstrating their Tv's but had no actual channels & a sort of limited Internet connect Twitter, Facebook etc but I did find a message on Twitter from the Jeds saying "It's Time it's time we are doing it for all of you!" I felt nervous for them like when you are told its time to go down for your operation.

As I'm supposed to be eating normally for the time being had an expensive Pie & Mash whilst watching all the G n R fans milling around the venue. It was then & only then I realised my mistake I usually can be found in a black Tshirt (not always the same one) but because it was so hot & I knew it would be hot in the concert I had a flowery tunic on, Oh boy did I feel out of place :DI would have bought a Tshirt but apart from one the pics were a bit  & the other said Guns n Roses with just Axl's face which didn't quite seem right as I remember the original line up.

I went just as they were going to start & was shown to my seat BEHIND the speakers so I couldn't see the stage so had to be moved upstairs thank goodness the pie didn't kick in as no way could i have got down the stairs in a hurry still having the after effects of going out with the Lala's.

I enjoyed the show Axl was good although wearing a few more clothes than the last time I saw him he was dressed like when the invisible man wants to be seen including a hat & sunglasses I was pleased he did take the sunglasses off. The band were good musicians but I missed Slash, Duff, Matt & Gilby.

The show finished about 1am as IzzyC (hope I got the right person) warned me but jumped in the car 15mins later back in hotel, searching the net to find out about Eurovision shocked my boys didn't do so well as last year but a lot better than Englebert. I like their hair flat but that was kinda weird & curly as well. Jonathan Ross wrote on Twitter Jedward should have won but its fixed anyway.

Make up, drink of water then bed I could hear a few people moving about upstairs but I guessed they'd been to the concert & would settle everytime I was just dropping off I was woken up at 3am I started phoning reception after about 3 irate phonecalls they admitted above me was a "large party" who were going on an early flight & were moving huge amounts of luggage & couldn't say when it would stop it was 4am by now ! Told them I wouldn't be paying for the room !!!!!!!!!!!

After about 4 hours sleep the rest of the guests started to get up so wearily I did to, thought i may as well have breakfast the maids were already knocking on doors to clean the rooms :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

On checking out they agreed to refund me but couldn't because I'd booked through cashback & Expedia. Tbh I would rather have had the nights sleep than the money.

Had to phone Expedia when I got home they say they have sorted the refund.

Now I find out Slash is doing dates in a weeks time I want to see him too :( so if anyone sees anything about freebies please let me know

    Afternoon lovelies :hello:

Sorry to quote myself but thought I'd have a play on the Ocado website and there is options on mine to have a free delivery slot WITHOUT spending the usual minimum £75. This might be old news :o but thought it's worth pointing out as it'ss a FANTASTIC offer if you order 5 of the below for £3 including delivery!

    5 x Kelloggs Cornflakes or Frosties 750g for £3!!!!!!!!!

I can't add them to my basket and checkout at the moment as you have to add them during the promo period of between 1pm-2pm each day. If it charges for delivery though, this will only be 99p on a spend of below £75 which still works out as a brilliant deal :D

660ml bottles of San Miguel for £1.50

I guess your other purchases may have made the point redundant, but these bottles are £1.40 in Asda, so the Tesco price check comparison comes into play.

SW are you a member of the wenban clan with those initials ? Just teasing : D

    No, not a member lol.

I guess I just wish this thread would focus on the more positive aspects, ie helping people to save money, lending a sympathetic ear in times of need... the sort of thing that's mentioned on the very first post, and less on the negative (lurkers, Facebook, and of course, everybody's favourite punching bag, the 'Wenban clan').
