Just borrowed this post from the main board because it tallies with what happened to Glitchhunter, get your calculators out because this needs some working out;)thanks to clairev36
I've had a strange result with this.
Tried in Tesco metro in N*wbu*y, 2 packs of sweet chilli chicken. Manned till, no BOGOF, customer services £7 back
Went to main Tesco on the A4, not an Extra just bog standard Tesco. Lots of packs but only some stickered up with the red BOGOF label. Selected 6 packs of different varieties. Other bits and pieces too.
Manned till, but 2 discounts seem to have worked.
Receipt says
**Mulitsaver** £-10.50 (presume this is the BOGOF)
Meat 2FR £6/3FR£8 £-5.00
I have spent ages trying to work out how to put a picture of the receipt up but can't work it out!
So paid 6x 3.50 = £21
-10.50
-5.00
£5.50 for 6 packs of BBQ meat:j:jBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Forgot to mention earlier to any sneck lurkers
Ret*il park clip strip in laptop aisle with OOD SEL for sony earphones. They scan at £10 but on clipstrip at £4 oddish. Have had them on DTD before, so no need for anymore.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

She was really nice actually, when she said that she was really angry, I gave her "the look", she said, "oh sorry I didn't mean with you, its not your fault, its just we have told the butchery dept several times today"0 -

I experienced this too
I bought 4 packets of Chinese Chicken Thighs a littler while ago. The white SEL said £3.50 each, but red B1G1F stickers were still on some of the packs, most had been torn off by CS though or else i would have picked up more
When it went through the till it went through as £14, less £7 multisaver. Thats the B1G1F part of it back on now I guess BUT it also showed a second discount of £2.50 with description "Meat 2For £6, 3 for £8"
So if I had bought 3 @ £3.50 that would have been £10.50 full price with £2.50 coming off to bring it down to £8. There was no signage to mention this deal at all
So I got four packs worth £14 less £7 B1G1F, less £2.50 discount for buying 3 packs = total of £4.50 which is ALMOST B1G3F ;-)
It's good but not as good as the first store I went to. In that store I bought 2 packs of Sweet Chilli Chicken Thighs (it was all that was left with the red stickers on) and the B1G1F didn't kick in so they were free on DTD ;-)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Not saying a word. My words seem to fall on deaf ears.
I never try to claim DTD after SS transactions. It's common sense IMO regardless of the policy. It gives them a nice easy get out excuse.
Well done on getting your giftcard. I've only ever had to ring CS (with my details) once. I'd like to keep it that way as it was for a pair of high value items.....end result, FULL refund and told to keep the items as gesture of good will after already having DTD on them making them free! Far better than some free sausages as I get mine for next to nothing at whoopsie time anyway.
We all play the game our own way but players who play like Joey Barton will always pop up on the radar again and again.
There you go.......told you I wasn't gonna say a word!!0 -
In my local there was 10p off petrol when you buy 2 packs of 9 Andrex @ £4 each (unfortunately no price check here)0
