i am home :j:j:j minus one toe :(:(

i got to the ward at 11.55am and was in theatre and 1.15pm :T:T.

the aneastic didnt want to do a general as i have a cold, and i told him i aint having a local. so we compromised, he did a spinal, sort of like a epidural, and i listened to my mp3 player, this had to go in a plastic bag.

i had a side room, due to a previous positive MRSA swab test. :(
i was waiting for my supper (5pm) when there was a tapping on my window, i looked up and the was a seagull sat there tappping the window. i started "chatting" with him. i asked the cleaner if i could hae a piece of bread for him. she [STRIKE]a grump[/STRIKE] said no. she said the woman that was in my bed had chucked her crusts out of the window, so the seagull would now wait for them, not realising she was no longer there. the seagull was getting impatient now and was pulling at its feathers. when i got my food i waited until no one was looking and gave the seagull a few bits.
2 mins before breakfast he arrived again. how does he know the time?

i am not meant to walk far, and keep my leg up. i have been given a stick to help me walk.

thanks for all the good wishes.

now off to catch up from yesterday morning.

    :j:j

Good to see you back home and on the thread again!

1- There are still new packs of BBQ meat with the BOGOF stickers arriving in store. All the front ones had the stickers off, but the new box at the back was complete with the little red stickers ;-)

2- If anyone wombles at Mr A, the £5 off a £40 shop is back on, on any receipt over £40.

    did the bogof work???

Cos it's dishonest i think:o. isn't it?!.. any other shop and I'd have probably gone back and pointed out the SA mistake but she was a trout and didn't even utter one word to me. I was outside and had a little fight with myself as to whether to go back or not then thought not..

wombling is stealing, as is buying things for 1p when we know they cost more to make:rotfl:

will just have to live with myself:rotfl:
