Thanks for the support, I do mean that. It is weeks of having a perfect OH and then the drink takes hold and boom here we are again. I keep everything from him - even his own account/salary and control everything. His dad won't accept his sons problem (prob as he drinks as well) and gives him subs on his wages despite demanding he doesn't.

You truly won't believe how many of us have been in your situation, this is really harsh but unless he gets helps it will probably only get worse:( You shouldnt have to live like that, when I was in a really similiar situation it just became "normal":(Then when I met my 2nd husband and compared the relationship to my first I realised their was nothing normal about it. I likened it to me being the parent and my DH being the naughty child who threw tantrums and went off the rails every now and again. But I was permanently on tenderhooks, never knowing if I could rely on him and hating any social occasion where drink was involved. If he carries on the time will come where you've had enough and something will just click;)but until then sending you hugs xx

Why are OH's so
I save and save to get debts and bills paid and for what!!! For OH to just keep spending what ever he likes on booze. Yes he has a serious drink problem and whenever I think I might get a bit of our debt paid it is gone. Our grocery's are around £80 a month. He's spent £125 that I know about in the last three 3 weeks. Where I'm going to find the money to cover that I don't know. I just hope this latest binge period ends soon.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'm just so upset.

I,m so sorry, I do feel for you, my ex husband was the same.It must be awful for you living like that, I tried everything at the time, I hid all the drink in the attic one time  but that just made it worse. It's only now looking back that I can't believe I put up with so much, I thought being with him was supporting him, that was 6 years ago, but he hasn't changed and still drinks, in and out of hospital , lost his job and home and blames his current drinking on me leaving him! I hope you will be ok :kisses3:

i am waiting for a woman to call me back, i explianed that i was diabetic, she said, i dont know why they have you on fasting as this is normally done under local aneasthetic :eek::eek::eek: there is no way i am gonna be awake when they chop of my toe.

My OH had his done under an epidural with a light sedative! He was in theatre for 7 hours and it was quite a drastic operation, but he was eating a full meal and enjoying a cup of tea just two hours after coming out! Might well be worth going for the local if it means a quicker recovery time.

Good luck for tomorrow - we will all be thinking of you.

You can call CS and either they will contact the store that delivered your shopping or will give you the number to call. The store can then confirm if it has been handed in. I used to do this when DTD started as I never felt confident with just handing them over.

    A million thank you's to you. :D

Seriously, I was really worried about that. I had planned so carefully.

Will be calling them first thing in the morning. :T

EDIT I'm sorry, I hadn't read back at all. Big hugs, our thoughts are with you.

That is completely how I feel.
I am fully tied in right now. I am tied in for 3 years. I am using this time to get my maths degree. You know it's actually supposed to be our 10 year anniversary this year. :(
