I agree that O2 are a bit dim though and their customer services can be shocking but I tolerate it because there's no way I'd get a better deal from anyone else!
I am on this tarrif but with unlimited texts and WAP.
It was from when Genie first started and i asked about an upgrade on my phone, they said they had not sorted the deals out yet but would put me down to £10 a month until they have. 5 years later ......WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?

You can just go into an O2 shop for an upgrade on the phone; you get banded a,b or c depending on how much you've paid in phone bilss in the 6 months prior to asking for an upgrade. I never spend more than £11 max a month so was banded as an "a" customer which meant I had to pay £60 if I wanted a new handset. However....when I went in just before Christmas for an upgrade (to a Samsung D500) the salesgirl was new and for some reason, she was convinced that all upgrades were a flat rate of £10. I saw no reason to argue with her :j and my OH whipped out his phone on the spot and asked for upgrade too.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0
