a few "dirty" phone calls would make my days more interesting :rotfl:

    And mine.

We could charge them for the phone calls, talk dirty for 5 mins & double our money
    :D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I dont think Greeneye was chucking the bucket of cold water.

Some people on this thread seem relatively new to ebay & may not be aware of some of the advice Greeneye has given.

Its good advice & just a reminder to people to be careful whilst they are having fun selling their manky shoes.

I was considering putting a pair of my 'very smelly' shoes on for a giggle just to see what they'd make but the very thought of a 'foot fetisher' getting my phone number or address from ebay has made me reconsider. Maybe someone who wasn't aware this could happen will think again too?

I work in a shoe shop & lots of people ask us to throw their old stinky shoes away when they buy new ones - I could make a fortune :rotfl::rotfl:

Shuffles off to the post office in her very well worn shoes thnking " I should be so lucky, lucky ,lucky ":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the bucket of cold water, perhaps you should read the thread thoroughly and you may then appreciate the humour that is within it.

It's kind of you to make people aware of the potential dangers, but I'm sure the folks on here are reasonably astute and will have already taken on board the possibilities which cause you concern.

    Couldn't find an applicable smiley!

I know it's funny I didn't say it wasn't but if you really think the majority of readers of this forum are astute you obviously haven't been reading many threads since you joined :D

And if a member of your family had picked up a real world stalker from the online world in the past you might appreciate how careful you need to be.
Particularily if you were the one who had to sought said stalker out.

My trainers smell like a wet dog - its vile - they should be going in the bin but it might make some 60 odd year old a very happy man!

I put my boyfriends ones on that have holes in the sole and already got a bid of £4.99
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

I saw loads of pairs of old shoes at a CBS at the wkend, but was way too hesitent to actually buy them for ebay!

Also, i notice that most of the sales of these strange items have the bidder/winner details kept private, so as to protect the identities of these (freaks) people. How do you do that when selling an item?
