downloading printer software

I am trying to update my printer software and I go to this link and download and run the file.

http://support.en.kodak.co.uk/app/answers/detail/a_id/32663/selected/true

However when I run the file I get stuck on a window connecting to server.

Is it me or is the link broken?

I have contacted Kodak but as yet I have had no reply.

It is all very well posting that link but it doesn't help, as the software downloads from that link and when run it connects to a server somewhere but what it connects to isn't visible to the user.

    Any helpful suggestions?

Right click the word download so it opens its own tab or asks if you want to open it in a new tab

I downloaded it so if you still cannot get it I can upload it for you

What did you download, the software from the link on the page

    Version 7.4
    Release Date 2012-03-29
    File Name aio_install.exe
    File Size 11.9 megabytes

or did you run that file and download the software from the server that it goes to?

it is now 18:30 and I still have a window saying connected to server and has been since 16:00.

    Did you run aio_install.exe?

I downloaded aio install but haven't got any Kodak printers so no point running it

If you right click the word download and it does not open a new tab etc, let me know and I will get you a link to download it from

We used to have a Kodak; that little file downloads the rest of the software suite when you run it. If memory serves it's at least 100MB.

You could download it again in case there is anything wrong with the download you have

If using Windows 7 did you right click the file and choose run as administrator
