    Evening all

Feels like ages since I've popped in, hugs and kisses for all the news I've missed, bad or good. We've had all sorts of illness here, from horrid colds more like flu (all of us) to sore throats (DH) and chickenpox (toddler DD), plus trying to get some legal stuff started for mum (tweaks to her will to protect her assets etc) - all jolly good fun! :D

I've finally got my oven fixed after being without it for over a month - SO looking forward to proper baking as it's DS 5th birthday next week.

OS-wise I did poorly today - went shopping and out for lunch with my sister, then bought fresh pasta, ready-made sauce and bought dessert for tea!! In my defence it's my birthday and I had a little more cash than I thought this week, so it was nice to splurge a little as we'll definitely be back on budget tomorrow!

More hugs and kisses to anyone who needs them and enjoy the rest of your evening.

    A xo

    Hello everyone,

Hope you'll forgive me for not popping in for so long but have not felt up to posting lately. Mum still in hospital, it's over a month now and I can't remember where we were up to when I last posted but the fractured pelvis it took them a week to find is healing nicely but there have been a catalogue of errors, rudeness, high-handedness and lack of information from almost all the staff. I won't whinge on but I cannot believe how few staff there appear to be truly caring and that the first reaction to any question is defensiveness - and, no we are not nasty when we ask but we are getting fed up, frustrated and now verging on angry. :(

Anyway, not much OS going on, just the basics but have joined SW to try and get rid of my spare tyre, (glad that curly wurlies are not too high in syns!!!!)

I will try to keep up to date and post as often as I can, it sounds as though quite a few are going through difficult times so big hugs to all who want or need them.

    Jan x
