Good Morning All - and many thanks for all the good wishes. Managed to get in to see DS last evening and he was just about with it, although seems to have "lost" a day somewhere! Sadly the sister(or whateverterm itis these days) wasn't a bit forthcoming about the scan, hardly wanting to admit he'd even had one until I told her the SHO had already told me that! - so will need to ring later when I hope the nice SHO who rang me yesterday will be on duty. DH was fuming at the uncooperative attitude - she didn't even know where DS was in the ward but had apparenetly been on duty all day! The regular little nurse suggested we rang after 8pm when she'd have gone off duty so don't think it was just us!! Anyway time will tell. Suspect in the end it will turn out that it's just him not taking his drugs in the correct quantities or at the appropriate time, but we'll see. Would hate to think we'd not noticed a head injury!
Need to sort my life out a bit once more - far too many balls whizzing round my head and about to hit the deck!
May try to getv some bread baked so I at least can pretend to OS ways today!
jackieO - I hope you feel better soon and that you enjoy a memory-filled time with the family.
Take care all!Resolution:

Adelight - well done on handing in your dissertation. I remember the immense feeling of relief :T:T:T No wonder you are feeling poorly - you have such a lot going on. Remember that this time will pass and life will become steady again x
Bemuzzled - keeping you in my thoughts x
Hester - hope you doing ok x
Butterfly - hugs x
Well it is brighter here today. I have had two very anxious days which is not surprising. I will attempt some washing and organise some shopping - but think that will be all today. My cleaner is coming later but she is on holiday next week so need to keep on top of things as my home is getting cluttered and going to rack and ruin.
DS1 seems to be ok in his new home, but am missing him now. DS2 said his exam went ok but it is like getting blood out of stone, trying to ascertain how he is feeling. He will suddenly blurt out a problem after days of silence and me nagging him:o
Ok well onwards and upwards. Hugs for a good day xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning everyone
Am tried this morning. Luna has upset tum. Again. Ruddy labs and their obsession with eating crap  so I had to let her out a couple of times in the night.
Plans today are to clean bathroom, make choc chip muffins and drink coffee. That seems about all I can handle at the moment :rotfl:
Tea is turkey meatballs and spaghetti. Only we don't have any turkey. So I guess chicken will have to do :rotfl:
JackieO - hugs to you and the tribe. I reckon Alan would be proud of how his tribe has carried on, you're such a close knit bunch. Hope your day is filled with happy memories xxx

Morning All
Well the Sun is trying to come out but its very cold, tempted to put heating on for an hour .
Jackie0 have a lovely day with your family.
Hugs to all that need one.Slimming World at target0 -
Had a productive day y/day due to clear blue skies, lots of weeding done and all cobwebs wiped from the outside windows and drainpipes. Potted up some patio plants and mowed the lawn. DGD3 is here so that DD2 can take DGD2 to swimming class, she's had lessons since she was 4mths old and loves it. DGD2 will be staying for a sleep over with us after her lesson. I use the word "sleep" lightly.
BM & DW finished, washing basket emptied and ironing pile completed. Our cases are packed ready for our hols on Sunday, the flight is 7am so we have to get up at 3am. Not looking forward to that !!
Beef strog is in the slow cooker for dinner enough for DH, me, DGD2, DD2 and SiL2b. There's some apples in the freezer so I'll make a crumble for their pud.
JACKIEO, I hope you have fun remembering good times with your family tonight.
HILSTEP Well done on your weight loss. :T
ADELIGHT, Hope you do well with your dissertation, and that all goes well tomorrow.
BEEMUZED, Fingers crossed that the battle axe at the hosp isn't there when you next visit, hope your DS is on the mend. ((((hugs)))) to all in need.0 -

Big Dog seems to be doing ok after his op.though he didnt come upstairs to see us safely into bed like he usually does:rotfl:
Not decided on tea yet, though there is a lot of chicken left from last night so might do a risotto with it.Need to pop the bm on in a mo as we haven't any bread left.

Morning everyone,
JackieO enjoy your day of lovely memories.
Hester hang on in there, it is nearly half term
Hugs to Marie, Molly Beemuzed and LW.
Been MIA for a while due to everything being really busy.
DS is doing his GCSEs. He has french today and he is really laid back about them. I am doing his worrying for him.
DD1 had a crisis over friendship groups last weekend so I spent a lot of time being a shoulder to cry on. It is all sorted now and she is back to her normal self. The plus point of her crisis was that when she is upset she bakes so we had lots of lovely cakes!
DD2 just seems to spend all her time playing netball, and long may it continue.:D
Have no idea what to cook for tea tonight, I will rummage in the freezer when I get home.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
