I have a fairly straight forward Windows 7 PC but Gimp kept causing blue screen crashes even when not running! they stopped again as soon as I uninstalled it all, no doubt it works fine for many people but it installs all sorts of stuff to run, be a bit wary of it is all I am saying.
I still have a copy of JASC Paintshop Pro on my PC which does 90% of common tasks, V5.0 - it went bloated and slow in following versions.0 -
