Virgin Media Sim Offer better than 02

spotted the new virgin media sim offer for exsisting customers
u get the sim free
the charge per month is 10 pound but its not a contract
an for 10 pound u get 300 tx an 300 any time any network mins
i thought this was a real bargain

also
after uve used ur free allowences u get to carry on using the sim and being billed for it
not sure on these tarrifs but you can call virgin an set ur own credit limit on the sims
ive set mine to 0 as i dont want a bill
but they told me i can allways go an purchase a top up card if i find i need more credit

ive also ordered one for my daughter as i was paying 10 pounds a month on 02 for only 300 tx messages

they also said it will fit in any phone and they will change your number to your existing one if u call your old provider an get the PAK number
Which came first the chicken or the egg....suppose it depends on which one is mispriced...i know not funny :o

Bumping this up, as I can't find it on the virgin site- do you have to be logged in to see it??

DH is on virgin and this deal would be perfect for eldest DD, she has a phone she is happy with and £10/month is what I want to spend for her;) Actually she'd be over the moon as she is very frugal with phone use, as it is on a VERY expensive ancient O2 sim at the mo- just looking for the best deal for her (I'm reluctant re new phone, as then it wuld have to be insured at up to£10/month which bumps the costs up vastly!).

you need to double check the credit limit cos it's set @ £100 but can be lowered to £50.i made a few calls before taking up the offer last November and i was told the same everytime.i enquired just now and it can't be set to 0 cos i wouldn't be able to make a call

Ah yes, it's for cable customers :(

Thought it was for existing Virgin Mobile customers when I read it at first
