    Just to clarify.

    1. It is a main water supply pipe serving other properties?

    2. We are not talking about the main supply just to your house

    3. What drawings are you you looking at.

I am looking at the drainage search with united utilities and yes it is a main water supply to other properties and not talking about the main supply just to my house.
    Thanks

What size is the main , should be on the plans, of course the plans may be incorrect as they are not 100% accurate, i use plans most days and sometimes it says the main is one side of the road, but when you look where the fire hydrants and valves are located in the actual road its obvious its the other side of the road not where the plan says it is

is there any chance of putting the plans up on here

What worries me is that ok they redirect the pipe, still means i have this pipe under going all the way up my path that i would own and all in side of the garden and under the living room going through the garden and driveway leading out to the fields beyond not sure how my surveyor would find this and if this would affect the value of the house even though they do redirect i am still left with the pipes underground, do you know how deep they put the pipes deanos, until this is sorted i will leave it out of air space until it is resolved but i will promise to show you its quite something

63mm is classed as a main , 750mm is the minimum depth it would have to be

I really think you need united utilities out as a main should not be built on, fingers crossed the plans may be wrong, the local network technician should have a good idea

Are there any fire hydrants or service valve covers anywhere as they will be on top of the main giving an indication where the actual main is

Gets better, The local authority do not have any records relating to the inspections by the building control officer.

When we had the survey, the surveyor couldn't find anything relating to the drains and asked for them to be investigated.

You need the water company network technician out to investigate, hopefully its a drawing error
