I saw someone yesterday who had a silver card and I didn't think it had the olympic logo in the background, only in the top right corner, it seemed more silver than the platinum card i've seen before...

That's a Lloyds TSB Cash Account card it has a plain silver card with the Olympic Logo in the top right corner.

It looks much better than my hideous green Lloyds TSB classic account card. I'm hoping that after the Olympics they bring back a classic design. I liked my old one with the Black horse on it.

That's interesting. It looked a lot smarter than the platinum one I think and def a lot better than the green one!

Lloyds TSB confirmed on twitter today that the olympic card design will be around until 31/12/12 as they haven't finalised their new designs yet.

They should copy the Bank of Scotland cards but using images from the rest of the UK
I have a deep burning indifference

It will likely coincide with the change to Lloyds Bank, as part of their disposal of the TSB brand.

Well i just got my new visa debit card and it's the exact same design i've had to endure for the past 3 years..!!!!!!?

My new card expires in 2015 so i'm going to have to put up with this horrible design for three years after the event has finished...are they taking the mick?
Surely the Gold medal for the most pointless complaint?

I want to know why a company that's been bailed out by the tax payer and still owes the money back has enough spare cash to flash around sponsoring anything!

Most likely they started sponsoring the Olympics long before bailing out Halifax and taking on their debts.

I don't think it is pointless at all, I don't like my horrible green Lloyds TSB visa debit card. It looks like they have got a 2 year old to design it. I preferred my old one with the black horse logo on it.

As soon as they replace these hideous Olympic logo ones i'm getting mine changed. There was nothing wrong with the old style with the black horse on and the background was a different colour depending on what type of account you had. They could have kept that card style and just put the Olympic logo in the right hand corner as it is now.
