Camelot- sounds like my old boss :eek:,be careful it doesnt make you ill and lets hope for a new job soon.
Miffy-nice news, I became a Great Aunt just months before I became a Grandma.TBH because me and DN are quite close its like having another grandchild :j-love it
I was cream crackered this morning-decided to stay and sleep on the sofa last night as Big Dogs legs were wobbly :oHe kept crying and was just on the wooden floor because his legs kept splaying out and he couldnt get up.DS2 heard him scratting about on the floor,came down and helped me move him onto the rug-cue much pushing & panting from me,well he does weigh over 70 kgs :rotfl:
Anyway he settled better there-had just got to sleep when DH came down about 1.30 & said his back was hurting lying down so could he have the sofa and would listen out for the dog.At 5.30 I heard dog noises & stuck my head over the banister to find DH had decamped to the spare room and was snoring away!So down I went again.Anyway he's a lot better now though still subdued & his tums upset with the anaesthetic,but had his dinner.He follows me round from room to room normally,but I dont want him to go upstairs so am just making a few cards downstairs.Feel like a snooze tbh

Tea will be a Remoska cooked chicken,& some gammon for DS2,might just do chips seeing as I'm being lazy:p

Lost our beloved boxy at 2.15pm. The vet said there was nothing they could do because he had developed neurological damage and had paralysis. DH stayed with him I couldn't, I just sat a sobbed in the car, even DH cried on the way home, DD is devastated and DS doesn't know yet.

Just popping in to say thanks for all the hugs yesterday. DS called ambulance in early hours...SHO called for background and has ordered brain scan as she thinks bruising may suggest head injury and he is still very drowsy and slurry. Rang just now, still waiting for scan and still sleeping...told not to hesitate to call for update at any time of day or night... Very helpful, but frankly scary???
Anyhow am going to pop up this eevening for a short while. He's been like this off and on since Friday - and had two other trips to A&E in between...
Sorry, no OS, just slightly panicked mum!

Not much going on here, have hoovered round and been to the bank after work. Helped DD sort out her holiday allowance and had yesterday's spag bol turned into chilli for tea.

Off to work in a mo, better shower first to wake myself up! Take care. XX

beemuzed how scary for you. I know I'm stating the obvious, but don't forget to look after yourself. Mums tend to rush about and worry and forget about themselves.
