morning all,
dry bright and sunny here. may be freezing though ive not ventured out yet. should be getting ready for taking kids to school not posting on here but hey ho.
tea last night was. supposed to be cheesy pasta with bacon but didnt have enough cheese for cheese sauce and also didnt have a packet of mix. so used philadelphia - as per a recipie on their website - but think i put too much macaroni in as it was dry. husband said it was "OK" not a good sign.
tonight sausage, mash and peas. still desperately trying not to shop. finances are dire at the mo. were running out of everything so will have to go soon.
made my gorgeous pud at the weekend. raspberries and creme fraiche in a cake like mixture with coconut and i ate the whole 4 portions myself - so much for the weight loss.

morning all

OH just sent me an e-mail to say that it was cold 3% this morning and he had to scrape the car. It is bright and sunny though.

Thought it was chilly in the house when I got up and made a cuppa so put the heating on to warm the house up.

Will make another cuppa in a bit and rummage in the fridge for tea-it will have to be a quick one as OH is off to train club tonight and we are going to see a planning exhibition about a new road that is going in by us first.

We had veggie chilli last night and OH had seconds.......

Happy birthday to Miss BB !!

Just a quick one from me. I am just about to leave to pick up work kids, we are going to Portsmouth to stay onboard a Naval ship for the night, and then do Navy activities tomorrow!! . Looking forward to it. Hope to god they behave themselves!! And hope that I can cope with the drive there and back as I am the only driver

Morning all,
I managed to pack 2 suitcases for DD2 y/day but when she opened 1 to put something else in the zip broke so i'll have to pop over to Argoose and pick up another, it's a 1hr round trip to the nearest store. Sigh.
BM and WM finished, made the bread for DD2. Vacumed throuthout y/day and 2 loads dried outside, still lovely and sunny here.
Got a leg of lamb (half price) out of the freezer so I'm making a lamb Tagine for dinner tonight.

BARGAINBIRD, Hope DD has a great birthday _party_ and wasn't too distracted by the poor Deer :eek: Wonder if there will be Venison on the school menu !!

Well its been a while again..........

Well life goes on here...the airconditioner has been on 24/7 for the past week and a half so I guess that means that summer is here:eek:

Normally by the middle of May our farming season would be over but the price of tomatoes has been through the roof this past month so OH has been busy picking every last tomatoe.....ones that wouldnt have been picked other years.........maybe one last round of some of the plastic houses and next week it will be over but its nice to see OH with a smile on his face .....wont be a lot to play with but at least it means that we will be able to start next season with out borrowing any money:T .
Oh is out to an acricultural exibition today so no need to cook! yeah!

Finally spoke to ds yesterday after aweek and a half of his phone being turned off......they are outin the field doing exercises g-d knows where but hopefully he will be home friday and sat so thats to look forward to........

Morning everyone
Cold last night, we had a frost on the grass!!! Hope my broccoli plants survive
Sun is out but I CBA to do anything. I don't know whats the matter with me lately, I swing from being uber motivated to wanting to lay on the sofa all day........mind you rubbish sleep courtesy of kids and dog doesnt help

Makeshift for tea as I have tap class. I suppose I ought to get a move on, have Forest School this afternoon with DD so what doesnt get done this morning will have to wait til tomorrow. Not a good idea when my house proud mum is coming round to puppy sit at my house :eek::o:o:o

Had herring for tea last night. Tonight I am going to make two chicken breasts feed four (in a sauce with onion and condensed mushroom soup and topped with crumble).

Going out later to help dh choose and order a potting shed so will defrost home made portions of paella and lasagne for tonight, make dough for bread rolls in breadmaker and blend the potato and leek soup I made yesterday.

Morning all, hope all are well, hugs to those who need one.
Day 4 of use up what is in the freezer week. Beef curry rice and naan bread tonight. Boys have requested kippers and toast. It was sunny 1st thing then started to rain, clothes are on the airer instead. I might do beans on toast for lunch with some bacon perhaps.
