Hi everyone,

Just back from Edinburgh - we had a lovely day out but very tiring!
"Oliver" was very good and DD managed to spend the rest of my Primark Voucher although I managed to get a cheap bag for myself too. It is so sad to see Edinburgh in such a state though. It did rain off and on the whole time we were there but it has been lovely at home which was good as I had 2 wash loads hung out.
Glad you had a good birthday and day out fire**fly - we had a McDonalds! :rotfl:

I'll see your magpie at the window, your dove and bat in the conservatories, docile bee in the living room and raise you 3 lazy kids who don't know the meaning of the word bedtime!! :wall: I swear it's like talking to a brick wall (although I probably will get more response out of the wall judging by the neighbours arguments!)

Becks, I had all that palava when I was getting married! Dad said he was gonna stick his foot out walking me down the aisle and trip me up for a laugh, brother said he was gonna shout when 'anyone think otherwise, speak now' bit comes on! thankfully it all went ok apart from hubby leaving price on bottom of shoes, noticible when kneeling at the altar!

Sheils, glad you enjoyed Oliver. I would love to see a musical.

Morning all,

Beautiful looking day here again and will be here to see it today. Will have to get some of my ironing done though.
Missing doing the magazine daily comps especially as I seem to get a lot of my prizes from them.

Wahey.....we have sunshine! Got washing out, anther wash load in, dog muck cleaned up off the garden, beds made but can't Hoover yet till OH gets up! Gonna take poop machine for a walk now.

Well done on the tickets Becks and have a nice walk Wingo. I'm going to do some ironing and hopefully get out a walk too. My L'oreal eyeshadow came from Glamour today (white) - really pleased with it as I have some of that kind already and its really good. Off to hide it now incase DD sees it when she comes home.

Afternoon all

Postie just brought me another 2 books - one I was expecting from Real Readers to review and another Waterstones FB win - The Orchardist (the comp was on 1 June). This makes 93 books this year - fortunately not all of them have needed reviewing, but I have a bit of an outstanding "to review" pile, so better get on with it. If only I didn't have to work!

Despite entering every day for the Glamour May comp I didn't win a single thing this year - so I'm very jealous of those who got anything, never mind several prizes.

How many sets of football tickets is that now Becks? You might as well just move in to the stadium. I keep trying to win some for OH (he's a Spurs fan) but no luck so far.
