    Hi guys,
I need some help. I am new to twitter comps. How will i get informed if i win any of them?
Do i need to check their page for the results or will they send a direct MSG to me?
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing ;)

You're normally DM'd ( direct messaged) and I think sometimes when you're DM'd Twitter will send you an email to let you know that you have a DM waiting (the email might say "message" instead of DM. I can't remember).

    HTH. :)

Facebook comps are a bit more varied. Some companies will post your name and then ask you to email them or FB message them, some will message you themselves or some will email you. If they already have your details (if it's a sweepstake/form filling comp rather than a "like and share") then sometimes prizes will just turn up.

If you join The Winners Circle (https://www.facebook.com/groups/315412321841373/) then when people see companies announcing winners names, they'll copy them to The Winners Circle and people will tag you if they know who you are so that you don't miss wins. :)

Or, BabychamPrincess and Monkey Chinchilla post a lot of Facebook winners here:

If you use the search function on MSE and put in your Facebook name, it will bring the post up if your name has been mentioned.
