Good Luck with it, I can remember when I used to work on the phones and between calls I was reading a magazine. I got so into one that I answered the call by saying 'Investigations, how may I love you?' instead of 'Reservations, how may I help you?'

Learnt something new yesterday, did you know on your Facebook as well as messages and other there is also a spam folder? Click on Message go upto the search box (top right of screen) there is an image of a magnifying glass, click that and type in box spam. I didn't have any spam messages but have heard of people who have (including prize notifications).

I have had a good day today,went to my lunch group then I went to Tesco and got my box of Cherry Bakewells had one with a coffee while reading my newspapers,Out tonight to Karioke so that will be nice,got washing done and now its drying.

Evening all how are we?

It is 1015pm and i am just sitting down to my tea :rotfl: it gets later and later on a friday


my sauce set off heinz is fab.. The tongs are really good quality. and the sauces are good size so least won't have to buy for a bit.

I have somehow acquired a second bridesmaid today :rotfl:

My DS has just sat down to his meal too Becks. Poor boy is supposed to be working 4 days a week until Sept but had to work an extra day this week for nothing and they were 9 hour plus days! He is off until Monday now and has a busy weekend planned and has been told he only needs to work 3 days next week which is a relief.( Wasn't sure whether to interfere or not)

Just instill in him that he shouldnt work for nothing and don't let them advantage. i am sure he will be ok though hun. He has a good mum who will make sure they don't work him like a slave.

Chefs have a hard time for some reason Becks - they very seldom get overtime etc. They just seem to be expected to work until the last person finishes their meal. DS had been well warned as DS2 is a chef and is always moving jobs to get fewer hours. He is doing agency work just now so he gets paid by the hour. DH was a Union Rep and I was strictly a 9-5 person so we find it difficult to understand. DS3 is actually training at same hotel as his brother did but it is a different owner and manager although one of the chefs is the same. (he says its like working with a miniature version of DS2) DS3 is enjoying it anyway but is completely shattered!
