I would personally say its always an Good idea to compare before you buy as you Know firm price is better than an Hourly Rate Under below are few links that will be helpful for you.
Firm & Fixed Quote Visit : Dex Man Van Company
Hourly Rate Service : Britannia Man And Van London
Looking for an Removal Company : Wilson Removals Reading0 -
Prices look very steep so far. We used a man and van twice for moves, the same guy because he was good. Cost £140 for 4 hours. Fully insured and for 2 men with one large van. His helper was just a lad but the main guy knew exactly what he was doing and didn't damage anything. Not sure why other posts suggest it costs twice as much.0

£60-£70 per hour for 2 men + van is standard rate in the South East.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
