I already know what my file says. I have 3ish defaults, and one CCJ (cleared)............Apparently Lloyds have accepted me, subject to my ID etc. Have an appointment tomorrow lunchtime, so keep your fingers crossed. Wont hold out too much hope though.

Good luck ... let us know how you get on ...

I think what Natwest did was terrible service ... opening and then closing the account without giving you a proper reason.

Lloyds TSB have given me an account today! Well, i have my account number and sortcode etc, so fingers crossed its all ok!
Am now thinking that a Yorkshire account would be a good idea?! But dont want to have to go all the way to london (about an hour and a half) if i am going to be refused!

I've been with Natwest (I have a step account) exactly a year now and have been very happy with it.

Glad you managed to open an account with Lloyds Dan, that's really good news :)

The form that I sent back to them seems to have got lost in the post. I phoned them yesterday and they said they hadn't received anything from me so they told me to wait until Thursday and ring them again. I hope I don't have to wait long after that. I'm also a bit worried because the form had my national insurance number, DOB, address etc.
