Help! Virgin mobile won't help with photo & PAC

I arranged a sim only deal with virgin for grandmas iPhone4. She was with tesco initially. I did same for me. I was with orange. Mine all went ok apart from the slowness of virgin to close off the transfer so my number would show correctly to others when I was texting or ringing them. Virgin were helpful when I rang them about mine to say that pple were seeing the virgin sim number rather than mine and they sorted it out. Different story with Grandma. Virgin couldn't be more unhelpful which is annoying as this is an old lady we are talking about. They say they don't support iPhone so can't help me!! She loves iPhone 4 and is tech savvy for a 70 yr old but is hard of hearing so I have to do the phone calls to virgin.
2 problems i need help with. Grandmas number has ported over but when anyone sends her a picture message it says you've been sent a picture Message to collect it visit virginmobile.co.uk/get message. It gives u a reference. Needless to say it doesn't work. This happened with my iPhone PAC transfer but once virgin completed their tasks it fixed it & I just received pictures normally. Secondly when grandma texts me the virgin sim number comes up not grandmas iPhone number yet when she texts an old mobile I had hanging around it came up with the correct number. The only suggestion virgin had was to reset the iPhone. Why they can't deal with it like they did with mine they won't explain or answer me. So I've reset the settings on the iPhone & still she's getting this picture messaging text from virgin & the numbers still wrong. Can anyone help otherwise I can see I'll have to give 30 days notice and transfer to some other provider and get a PAC code etc etc etc !!! TIA.

I used to work for Virgin Mobile a few years back and I remember we had to tell people who were having issues setting up MMS to send themselves an MMS. I have no idea why this worked but it did! Give it a try:beer: Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0

Try posting the same question on the forum below, Virgin normally reply pretty quick & sort problems out.

Thanks for this. A guy at virgin helpdesk did suggest she sends a picture message but didnt say send it to herself so I'll try that as it didn't fix it by sending a pic. I'll post the result.
