Reference to Medical Advisor required for advice

What does this mean? lol sorry im being a bit daft today xx

There are two sorts of medical input inside the ESA scheme.

Firstly, there is the 'health care professional' - these are the people that do the assessments either in-home or at centres.

Second is 'medical services' - these are a panel of people with specific medical knowledge of the conditions in question.

At the moment - both of these are run by ATOS.

'medical adviser' - means that the file is passed along with any notes about specific queries the decisionmaker has to them, they look at the file, and answer the question.

For example - 'claimant has X, and is saying they have problems with Y, is this consistent'.

I'd have to have a home visit. My condition varies that much its way to unpredictable for me to commit to an appointment. I have had to cancel consultant appointments on the day as i have been unable to move.
Im also on morphine and due to start some immunosuppressent drugs on 30th may.
I'd be glad to pass the ESA medical for ANY group. I want to work again, am only 29 :(.
Not sure if i will even apply for it myself, seems very scarey!!! xx

It's really hard to get transport or a home visit, my gp sent 2 faxes and they denied receiving them was really difficult..
I ending up paying £100 in cab fares and having to keep my kids off school for a day as they wouldn't do it for a sensible time, it was for 3.10 pm 25 miles from home and i'm also a lone parent..
Getiing it recorded it also difficult tried for that too was impossible, luckily though I was placed in the WRAG..
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...
