This is the pet board, why are you here if you feel pets are useless and shouldn't exist?
S0d off and stick to moaning about your marriage and your neighbours!0 -

Oh the irony from some one who appears to spend a lot of time on here:rotfl:
She has a thing about some cats in her neighbourhood using her garden as a litter tray, which I can understand is frustrating and annoying, so she obviously has a dislike of cats.
Why she then reads threads that are obviously about cats is beyond me, other than it gives her an excuse to write horrible things (which I read in passing, but more often than not ignore).
I've been a vegetarian all my adult life, and it's like me going on to forums discussing how lovely meat is and then writing my thoughts which would obviously contravene those in the majority - Personally, I have neither the time nor the inclination to do such a thing.
Mildred - you could say that lots of things are pointless in life - e.g a prized ornament! What does it actually do? Nothing, just sit on the shelf and look at you! It can't be trained to clean itself or act as a listener for a deaf person!
Of course I'm being silly.. but the point is that cats give pleasure to many millions of people, just like ornaments do, so you can't say they are "pointless" just because you don't like them yourself! I laugh several times each and every day at the antics of mine0 -

Not pets, cats.
I've nothing to moan about, thanks!!Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

Nothing to moan about? A quick glance through your last few started threads says differently.
You don't like cats OR humans very much it seems.
In all seriousness, you come across as very unhappy, and I hope you are able to feel better soon, but its just not on to come on a pet forum, on a thread about cats, full of cat lovers, and post a diatribe about why they shouldn't be allowed to exist.
Lots of people would be happier in a world without toddlers, would you like them to invade your threads to tell you exactly why?0 -

They kill millions of other creatures every year (and. It because they need to). They !!!! indiscriminately and their owners take no responsibility for it. They can't be trained to be seeing eye cats or hearing cats for deaf people. They spread germs from outside around the home, including kitchen surfaces and they take resources that could be used to feed humans elsewhere in the world.
If you want a friend, get off your bum and go and meet some humans.
Iusedto pass out a lot. The cats often used to yell. For dh when i did, then he noticed they would start behaving differently sometime before i did. They cannot phone an ambulance or even do so much as the dog can do, but my cats were my alert pets.0 -
aww an anti cat person. How rare. Cats doing the business in your garden is nature. They don't like to do the business in their own garden. Smart animals you see. Why sht on yer own doorstep
Owners don't need to take responsibility for it, cat's have freedom to do what they want. Not that my cat would want to sht in your garden, she'll spend all day in the garden and come inside to use her litter tray :rotfl:
And yes, cats can be very vocal when someone in the house is ill. When my DS was sick and sleeping 18 hours a day, Misty hardly left his side, apart from going to the litter tray. They cuddle you when you're down, do daft things to make you smile.
Cats are hunters. Deal with it. It's nature. It's what they do.
And just for the record, any animal brings germs into the house. A cat can be trained from a young age where it is and isn't allowed to go, my work tops are cat free and always have been.
Any more anti cat drivel you want to spout ?4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Do nothing useful? Kill millions of animals every year? Spread disease? Kill and leave their crap wherever they choose?
Sounds a lot like humans to me.
Oh wait, we are useful, we're good at thinking we're better than other species who do exactly as we do.
If you think cats are pointless? Why click on the thread? Just to annoy? Or fulfil your obvious need to moan about something? Seems to me you are the one that needs to get some friends.Sigless0 -

House cat or not, the world does not need more (pointless) domestic cats. Your failure to spay was highly irresponsible.
Bit harsh, squit happens. Blimey, kittens'd be an expensive commodity if it didn't.
Our cat had kittens, because we were told to wait until she was over 6 months to neuter, because it interrupts hormones and causes long leg growth (or something). Anyhoo, she had a lovely litter of gorgeous kitties.
OP, enjoy your kitties.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
