Glad to hear you had/have teddies Brogden, I think they are an important part of learning to nurture. Must be why you are such a lovely caring soul x

As for being a goody two shoes, I was too so nothing wrong with that in my eyes. I know what you mean about credit cards though. I rue the day I ever got my first.

NOA, I'm really hoping I can get him one today, even if it's a spongebob square pants one from Argos - previously £20, now £4. He can keep the stickers etc to do with DGDs. (I checked if the Lego ones were reduced but sadly not). I may of course just buy him a chocolate one.

Seeing my little darlings today :)

Have a good day all x

Thanks Beanie, we cross posted there. Seems I wasn't being odd when I found it strange that he'd never had either x

Well done on your weight loss, you are doing amazingly well x

Oh how annoying Beanie. Im glad I put it on hold then.

OH just mentioned it again, saying he didn't even care if he had things behind the door, just liked the thought of opening the little doors/windows each day.

Granny, maybe you could keep this years Advent calendar for next year and put a chocolate button behind each window?

We didn't have Advent calendars growing up (too expensive, too much potential for squabbling with 5 children) and I don't remember seeing them in the shops. My sons didn't have them either. We all had teddies though. I can't imagine a childhood without a cuddlable toy.

    Hugs for your OH

    Thanks both.

I got a chocolate Mr Men & Little Miss one for £1 for now. OH was chuffed. DGD2 thought it was cute and instructed him on how to use it.

I also bought the SBS pants, a Monster High and a Moshi Monsters one each for DGC for next year from Argos as they were so cheap.

DGD2 is currently snoring her little head off on my sofa, having fallen to sleep in the car and not even waking up when I carried her in. She looked tired when we picked her up, went for coffee and a wander around the shops and then asked to go 'Granny's house'

OH has gone to collect DGD1.

I was too lazy to go out today to try to get one for my DS.
I got married in this week all these years ago.
Still feels a wee bit odd.

Oh Granny glad you managed to get OH an advent calendar. Such a shame about lack of teddy cuddling in his formative years.

I have done most Chrimbo shopping lots of bargain hunting codes and cash back sites plus a few birthdays thrown in. Expensive time of year this one!

Hope your cold disappears soon and you can have a more time with the DGC.

Fantastic brilliant news on the dress sizes and weight loss! May it continue!
