Well poor old Banks, if they hadn't made billions from conning people they wouldn't have to deal with all these 'chancres' would they ?

And yes, many thousands of the complaints are 'alleged', as more often than not the customer can't remember how they signed up or anything about the initial sale.

And your quite right, they are are 'alleged' and shouldn't be branded as 'fraudulent' if these people don't know whether they had it or not. If the Banks really feel they are 'fraudsters' they why haven't they written to EVERYONE who took out PPI, as they are supposed to be doing.

A medical condition in most cases does not invalidate the policy. Pre-existing conditions (And those arising from them) will not be covered but unrelated medical conditions will be covered.

Thanks Dunstonh, that's helpful. I think the issue is that had she known about the limitations she would not have bought the cover.
