ive had a mole on my stomach for quite a while but just recently ive started to worry about it even though it hasnt got bigger or anything..im sure it feels more raised than it used to though
going to go to the doctors about it but just wondered if anyone had any advice in the meantime..have looked on nhs website at images and to me it doesnt look like any on there..not sure if thats a good or bad sign tbh
I recently had one removed to be checked. Pretty painless and so relieved I did it, whent he results came back they hadn't removed enough so I'd to get it done again but I think this is fairly uncommon and again, wasn't painful.
With this one it was dark, raggy edged and I think it had changed so I'd worried about it for years but had been too chicken to go to the docs. I have another on my back that is just big but looks normal, he took one look and said "it's fine, doesn't need removed".
Also, if it does need removed don't panic, as I understnad it they are removing anything remotely different as it's better to be safe than sorry and it's such a small op that it's not a big deal to remove them. That's what he told me anyway!

I had a mole on the middle of my back, it has always been there, but when I was pregnant with DD2, it became raised and "bobbly". Obviously, because of where it was located, it was difficult to keep a check on it, other than showing DH. They did remove it and when they took it out, they showed it to me and it did go quite deep.
A biopsy showed that it was just dead tissue and nothing to worry about. I had to have a few stitches which didn't hurt, my practice nurse removed them and I just have a little lump type scar on my back where it was.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £18,886.270
