ok so doesnt give the option of 1tb hard drive (although i am sure you could call them and they would probably put one in for you), if not you could always go down the idea of a external drive or evan a NASDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Ahh thanks guys! glad to help & like I say, OCUK are v.good, so happy to recommend.
Wow nice can's by the way.... can see why you want a top class sound setup to go with those baby’s.
On-board sound suffices for me.. so can't really step further into that debate, but seems your small size requirement is limiting your choice quite a lot here (and probably pushing budget bit too) - but they do look v.nice and discreet so can see the appeal!
No shifting on the size limitation I assume? .
And as the other poster said, on-board gfx will mostly be max 1920*1200 over dvi/hdmi (the intel one that I listed using the Asus P8H61I is 1920 with dvi/hdmi and "Supports D-Sub with Max. Resolution 2048 x 1530 @75Hz".. ), so seems you are going to want decent dedicated graphics too – which would use up the single PCI-E slot on the Mini-ITX form factors, and hence limit choice to USB sound card.
The chillfactor box looks nice & its always fun (+all too common) to blow the budget on new tech toys..although not very MSE I imagine0 -
this thread is crazy, the OP needs to make his mind up if size matters or not, For £700 you could get 2 computers more than adequate to meet your spec.0

Agree seems a lot of money to do some upscalling of video.
Movies need surround sound don't matter how good you make the front channels it will still be substandard sound.0 -

I own £350 headphones - so sound is important to me - the set up of my room is such that I have a slot of 13.5" - 14.0" square
There is nowhere else near the monitor to put this machine - if I could I would buy a £450 machine from Dell immediately
I have spoken to Overclockers who have yet to come back to me four hours later - Chillblast took an hour to put together a spec for me - perhaps this is indicative of their level of service
I appreciate all the help people are giving but in this case its not necessarily about getting the cheapest option its about getting the best option for my needs at the best price0 -

Longer monitor cable would solve that

What ventilation does this small space have?
plenty of space in front and behind?0 -
