Morning!
Pointpenguin - what did you go and see?
Oops - these discount code sites are dangerous!! Just bought afternoon tea for my grandma and I for £19, reduced from £60. Great deal, and we both LOVE afternoon tea. Plus she's going into hospital soon for another op, so she deserves a treatBut even with the extra money in the 'fun' kitty from the bargain trainers I might head into the red this week.
Off out tonight with the BF for dinner and a gig - the gig's free because it's my mate's band, and hoping the BF will fancy pizza so I can use my %25 off code :money:
Hope everyone's having a great week xx

Hey ladymay
I went to an experimental theatre evening where artists are given 10 mins to try out their new ideas for plays, sketches etc. and then the audience give feedback at the end. There were 4 different ones as part of this show. The one I liked most was based on the boardgame Risk. The audience was split into two teams and got to make decisions about invading different countries so was a bit like a game. There was one very weird one that I have no idea what the point of it was. The other two were ok and could have potential if developed.
It has been a rather long day at work and tomorrow looks to be more of the same. I wasn't organised for lunch today so ended up buying it spending £4. No other spends for me but that does make me red for the week.
Total £23 / £20
Happy Friday for tomorrow.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi everyone
wow pp, can't believe you get to go to China, that's amazing! I'm so jealous!
I will of course keep the thread going, I'm always better at checking in when I've started it!
Busy old week again, I just don't know where the time goes!
Sun - £20 on alcohol, food etc for the dinner I did for my friends - to be fair, I had enough food left over for 2 lunches and one dinner for me, and loads of beers, so I won't need to buy drinks for a while!
Mon - £5.20 in the pub with my friend
Tue - £2 towards a drink
Wed - 40p on a pretzel from Mr T bakery for breakfast...naughty but nice!
Thu - £2.70 on lunch meal deal as unorganised and didn't fancy the tin of beans I'd brought as emergency! also £5.90 pub.
Fri - Planned £2.85 Starbucks - possible drink after work but I really can't afford to!
Last night I gave my friend £13 for camping next weekend, but I'm not counting it as I just gave it to her so I wouldn't spend it! and it's for next Saturday so won't ever see this challenge anyway!
So...total so far = £36.20 with at least £2.85 being spent on top of that! A lovely rosy red for me! Need to curb my spending, I can really feel myself slipping into old habits!
Have a great Friday all!

Oh dear,
£39 spent yesterday :eek::eek: £20 on the evening out, and £19 on the afternoon tea voucher for Grandma and I. Even with my extra £15 from the cheap trainers I'm in the red this week
Total (minus £15): £35.25/£25
Been paid so everything has been bought that I've needed, the savings money has been siphoned off so now I just need to be careful for the rest of the month.

Evening all
I spent £2.70 yesterday,
so that's £14.75 / £15 for the week. :j:j
No plans other than watching TV/ DVD's all weekend. so shouldn't have any more spends for the week.
Will probably be pledging £25 for next week, as a very quiet week, apart from one planned night out on Thurs, and not really sure what that will cost.
Have a good weekend all.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Spent £9 on soft balls in ELC for kids. They were on 342 and the kids get a lot of use out of them. Still coming in under budget for the week:T
