The weather is bright and sunny and ive been out and bought a rotary washing line. Argued with OH who wanted to attatch a washing line in between the sheds. I said it would look rediculous so then we argued about the size of the rotary i'd need. As a matter of interest, do any of you who use rotary lines actually take the line out of the ground each time youve used it? I thought the idea was to put the weather cover over it after use but i think hubby was just being awkward as he insisted i'd have to take it out and store it after use.:( I wouldnt mind but i wasnt asking him to pay for it! I really would like to lower my utility costs to under £100 if thats at all possible.
We've always used a rotary line (Mr LW already had one when I moved in here 10 years ago) and it stays in the ground - just gets taken out when Mr LW mows the back lawn, to make it easier with the mower. It's easier for me that a straight line, as I can place the washing cart to hand, and stand in one place to hang the stuff out and just twizzle the whirligig (as I call it) round, not have to keep moving my aching bones and the cart along to an empty bit of line. HTH.
Oh Marie please don't give up hope just yet, I am sending positive vibes your way and the offer is still there for all who are willing on the forum to look at all the lost and found sites for you x ((((((((Hugs))))))))
Marie - wot she said! I for one would be very willing to help look.

    Morning all!

Gorgeous weather this morning! :) WM is on, (with washing soda and vinegar, plus a little bit of normal powder - this site has saved me SO much money!) and we're going to the May Fayre later, which will be lovely in the sun.

Unfortunately I have an essay to write this weekend, so am planning to do that this morning and tomorrow morning, then get out and about in the afternoons. The garden is desperate for attention! :o

BM is on, when that finishes I'll be putting a chicken curry in the SC for tonight, with extras to freeze (they share a plug socket - we have a very small kitchen! :p)

Marie, I hope you have news of Kerry soon xx

Have a good day all :) CBx

Hi Chelsea, hope you had a good day.

I'm fairly new to this OS biz - can you explain how you wash with soda and vinegar - I have recently taken early retirement and an willing to take any advice on saving money.

    Thanx

    Val xx
