Afternoon all.
The weather is bright and sunny and ive been out and bought a rotary washing line. Argued with OH who wanted to attatch a washing line in between the sheds. I said it would look rediculous so then we argued about the size of the rotary i'd need. As a matter of interest, do any of you who use rotary lines actually take the line out of the ground each time youve used it? I thought the idea was to put the weather cover over it after use but i think hubby was just being awkward as he insisted i'd have to take it out and store it after use.:( I wouldnt mind but i wasnt asking him to pay for it! I really would like to lower my utility costs to under £100 if thats at all possible.
The men had their usual bacon, sausage and eggs for breakfast, looks like we are having fish for tea. They can sing for their dinner (or make it themselves).
Still not decided what sort of fire we are having in the living room. We would both love a multi fuel burner but due to the costs of installation, buying seasoned wood and it not being so convenient as gas its a matter of choosing between needs and wants. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi there , late posting today as spent most of it on the sofa with a migraine and tummy upset. Did manage to walk Jack and put washing on line before I gave in. Washing now dry , lovely to be able to stand in the garden and fold it neatly, instead of running in before next shower or freezing to death. Dinner on chicken and parsley casserole, might make some biscuits in a moment as the oven is on. Hugs to all in need. Marie hope you have news of Kerry soon. Hope everyone has had some sun and fun today. Have a good evening all.:)£180.00 in 'sistercas'fund
Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Judi - I've only had one for 2 months, but it stays in the ground! I don't really have anywhere to keep it, but will hopefully have a shed in few months and will keep it in that come winter.
I've had a lovely day out in Cardiff
we went to see my friend's new house and got to play with her little one (9mths) for an hour before going into the city centre for a wander and lunch. I bought some of my fav perfume for half price
.
I'm absolutely shattered now, I stayed at my friend's last night and had to leave early to be back here for going out. So I'm having a chilled evening infront of the tv. Dinner will be something simple.
Have a good night all

Judi I have always had rotary lines. My first one at my current home I did leave in and then it rusted and couldn't be moved so it had to e dug out and a new one bought
I have left the replacement in but I do periodically remove it to make sure it's not stuck

Hello all,
have spoken severely to Buddha who lives at my front door and to anyone else I feel might help, but still no sign of Kerry....have decided that we will not see her again. Thank you all for your kind messages and thoughts.
Sunny here today but not very warm, have registered for my next lot of swimming classes which start next Thursday, have really stiffened up over last couple of weeks...2 loads of washing out, one of which must be ready to come in, will leave towels and bedding out overnight as it freshens them really well.
OH cooked brunch at about 11 this morning....large lamb chop, fried onions and mushrooms and 3 slices of garlic bread each.....decided that after such a feast we wouldn't be able for a proper dinner so we just had smoked mackerel salad with brown bread, fine until I polished off some baileys fudge I bought in Dingle last week!
Spoke earlier to DD2 in London....she and dgds 1&3 may be here in about 10 days for a week....think that I will buy new bedlinen and put up curtains I have had for ages in her room to surprise her.
Had 3 bull finches in the garden this morning, they had a wonderful feast on some dandelions....beautiful birds.
Hope that you all enjoy the rest of the weekend....stay safe and well

Hang on in there Marie, what can we do to help? Do you have a photo and we can all look as BB suggested.
A day of cleaning and washing - 5 loads dried on the line with only a couple of short showers. I have cleaned the fridge from top to bottom along with most of the kitchen cupboards after I found evidence of the little visitors.
Went to visit friends this afternoon and the children gave me some sunflowers so I have put them in pots, lets see if the bunnies get them too, they get everything else apart from the rhubarb and I can't stand the stuff!!
Take care. XX0
