    G'morning all.

Went away to see family for my rostered days off, so haven't been too OS the past couple of days.

Tomorrow's dinner is ready to be slung in the slow cooker in the morning(it's actually saturday evening here) before work. Gravy beef, vege and lentil stew. I'll cook enough to last the week, otherwise it's not worth putting the cooker on, for one serving of one meal.

The car seems to have slowed the oil leak at the moment...it hasn't lost much oil for a couple of weeks. I'm wondering if I should get a second opinion before biting the bullet and buying another. It IS rather ancient though...1988, and there's also a problem with the alternator and who-knows-what next. I'm actually considering buying a second-hand bike for commuting, but I'd still need the car to carry bulky stuff and longer trips.

    Morning Everyone!

Sunny in Hastings, hope it continues!:T I'm stripping today.... wallpaper:rotfl: OH is going to do up the kitchen and Breakfast room, so while he's in the USA I thought I'd make a start getting the room ready, then he has no excuse when he gets back!:rotfl:

Banged my arm on the banister as I went to get the paper and bled over everything. Don't know why my skin is so thin lately, unless it's my meds. Doc says my blood is fine, but looks like I've been self-harming:eek:

Weight loss is continuing. I weighed 12 stone two weekends ago, now down to 11stone 6lb:T

    Have a good day all!

Morning everyone - Happy Weeken to all!

As I'm temporarily homeless I'm staying in my caravan at the moment so nice and peaceful. The sun is shining and I'm about to go shopping (hopefully for a new phone) is I can persuade hubby to let me have his upgrade!!

Will probably have brunch in town and will have to go to the supermarket to sort out tea!

    Love to all

    Val xx

Gorgeous day here too. No washing to do as I got fed up with seeing it around and did loads earlier this week. Might see if I can find some though - can't waste the drying weather.

The Rev is off to a boring synod in Weymouth today so it was a 5.30am start for her and I don't expect to see her again till about 8.30 tonight. I'll use the time to get various things done that are impossible when she is around.

Planned to be at the farmer's market by 8.30 but had a long phone call followed by a longer one. Both from very elderly friends so didn't feel I could cut them short. DS is supposed to be calling in at '10-ish' and am still waiting for him. Hope he is not too long as someone-else is coming to remove all the Magic Circle's things from our garage at 12.30 and there will be nothing left at the market if I am too late.
In between all this I am hoping to do a bit in the garden (thanks BB!) make apple crumble and a bread and butter pudding for the drop-in tomorrow, clean my bedroom and make a dent in the ironing mountain.
As there is only me here it will be a sandwich for lunch and an omelette and salad tonight.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Marie - my heart is sore for you.

Afternoon all, a lovely sunny day here also. Two loads of washing on the line.I went on my morning walk and then took my dad for his as he needed to go to the shops. He is losing is sight and cant go out by himself, but he likes a bit of a stretch. He has had the brilliant idea of investing in a wheelchair for himself, with an electric push control for me. God knows where he gets his ideas from. i told him we would look at nice lightweight ones instead which can fold up. Parents who would have them eh. Hugs to all.
