£8.60 in L!dl today on milk, bread flour, mayonaise, yoghurts, ham, dishclothes and freezer bags. So much for the "I won't get a trolley and then I won't get more than milk & flour" theory - ran out of ham & mayo this morning, picked up a basket on the way in the door and ended up with all the other bits and pieces to try to fit into my handbag on the way out!
Total is £58.25 / £200 so far for June with everything I need to last until middle of next week. Very happy with progress so far.0 -
Just back from an amazing concert! Keith & Kristyn Getty's Celtic tour. Still on a high :T from the fantastic music
Only spent £1.50  on a glass of lemonade at half time, but from the 'entertainment' budget so not counting in GC. Dad paid for a cuppa beforehand for all of us
Off to bed, as I've got to get up for work in the morning.2025 Fashion on the ration

I went to Waitrose today as I had a £10 voucher and also a 50p one from a newspaper. Got loads of whoopsies! I figure they nearlypaid me to take away so sachets of sacla sauce(! paid 0nly 60p for 3 because of multibuy) My multi buys on reduced peppered grillsteaks also went through so they only worked out at 50p per pack of 2! Reduced rolls, grapessandwiches, chicken wings, whole cooked chickens, sausages, angus burgers! I spent £72 but I saved £32 on whoosies and £11.50 on vouchers and £12.20 on instore multibuys! So really I had £127.70 worth if I add it all up! So an almost half price shop!
Although I don't need anything else Ive just placed an order with Ocado who gave me disastrous service on my first order. They had given me a £7 goodwill voucher and if I competed a survey for them telling them what they were doing wrong I would get a £20 voucher off of a £60 order so Ive booked a delivery for latish on Saturday week at no cost and have £27 off of my shopping plus some offers and multibuys worth about £12 if I remember it right(may have been more). So-I guess I will be overspending this month but what else can I do?!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
