I'm declaring for June at £235.80, so yes I did go quite badly over budget!
I am however determined to do better in July, which I have kicked off with a £57.29 spend at Mr.M's. This included what should be all my cleaning products for the month and a special offer pack of bacon for £5 which should also last the month. I've bunged half in the freezer for later on!
I have loads of meals in the freezer, so there are going to be lots of freezer roulette/surprise meals this month0 -
Quick post from me then I will catch up properly later

Getting close to the end of the month (Saturday for me)! NSD today and I hope for the rest of the month. Had some steak and vegetable casserole from the freezer along with mash and peas for dinner, was absolutely delicious!
Have been calculating totals from my spreadsheet (I am so sad :rotfl:) and this month I've spent:
£10.21 on cat food & litter
£16.10 on toiletries
£18.50 on household stuff/cleaning supplies
£21.66 on dairy and eggs
£45.49 on fruit & veg
£23.64 on meat
£34.94 on OH's treats (mainly crisps, coke etc)
and £70.24 on general groceries (i.e. pasta, lentils, tins and everything else).
Plus £21.00 getting the shopping delivered.
Not sure what to do with this information now that I have it :rotfl: guess it'll be interesting to see how July comparesPart time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Was saved from myself today by the intervention of third parties! Needed cream for the curry that I had planned. Decided I'd go to A!di after I had given blood because its just round the corner. Then started thinking about all the other things that I could "do with" while I was there. Could probably have easily spent another £20 or so but the blood donor session was running massively late. Got into A!di 5 minutes before they closed so instead of browsing and filling a trolley of stuff that I don't need yet, I dashed in for a pack of naan bread (too late to make HM chapattis) and a tub of cream. £1.14 instead of the fortune I would have spent if the appointment was on time!
I think that takes me just over £170 / £200 for June. Not going to declare until the 30th just in case but I'm really pleased with that so far!0 -
July thread is up; all bright and shiny and new!
