And me

It works for me too, but... I'll be a negative little bunny here and say that those who really ought to use it will not. I'm talking about those whose hobby is to argue and complain about others again and again...

They do see your posts but you cannot see theirs unless they are quoted by another user. You also don't receive their PMs.

I am being watched and dont want to be, guess I will have to have a name change. 0 -
As "ignore" features go, the default vBulletin one is pretty useless.
Much better to use the built in ignore feature in your brain, and just not pay any attention to some people, even if you can see their posts.

Is there a way you can make it so people cannot see you while you ignore them as some people are a bit weird and obsessive and I don't really want their attention or them trolling me and making trouble please? They do see your posts but you cannot see theirs unless they are quoted by another user. Not as far as I am aware.LurkerTurnedPoster wrote: »Thank you Hovel.
So someone can troll you and you can't see, and they can influence others opinion of you without you having a right to reply. I guess it is better than nothing.
Can you tell if someone has you on ignore please?
Unless anyone knows different?0 -

Thank you to Q and others in this thread that leant assistance, as I didn't see your posts and so it must have looked like I was not reading your helpfulness. xx
No worries...
Thanks for finding out that most call me "Q"
In answer to your last question, no you cannot tell if someone has you on ignore. It's more... "diplomatic" this way.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
