  • You've inspired me to get back on the eb@y wagon.

I had put some winter coats (kids) away to sell later and I may as well get them on. Will check out FLW

  • Glad I provided some inspiration - can you pass it back when I'm struggling please?! (Actually Tilly - you are always inspirational). :A

2p roadkill to add to the coin jar.

Spends today on: yeast, bread flour, bread (go figure!) and a set of three wooden spoons to give to my lovely neighbors son who heads off to uni in a week or so. All from budgeted pots.

Tea tonight - HM pizza (hence bread flour) with fruit salad for pud.

Sitting here in peace enjoying the house to myself for the first time in yonks.

  • Another bag of coppers paid in to bank today. Thats £1 towards the depleted savings pot.

    Walked to and from work.

Worked hard and achieved stuff at work.

Resisted bag of chips for lunch and stuck to my leftovers which means its a NSD.

    Hoovered all the house.

    And - its the weekend!

  • Muser - bless your 2 year old. Sometimes JellyButt our cat tries to 'help' me type too!

    Busy day.
Got new clothes for kids (from pots but I've had to 'borrow' from their next months clothing fund').
    A spot of gardening.
Made: tomato pasta sauce from some of the greenhouse tomato glut, banana cake made from gone over bananas from the office, fruit and seed flapjacks.
Filled holes in and sanded down two internal doors. Will prime them tomorrow ready for undercoating next weekend.
My parents came for a cup of tea and a chat.
Dinner from stores - am trying to use up lots of stray bits of food so the spaghetti bolognese was served on three different kinds of pasta and not one of them resembled spaghetti!

  • Think I might have caught Edinburgher's cold. Feel rotten. Not like me so I'm hoping a good nights sleep will knock it on the head.

Went for walk this morning and got rained on. Prob didn't help sniffles. Picked some blackberries on walk. Opposite neighbors had some 'help yourself apples' out so turned everything into blackberry and apple pie. Nom nom nom.

Did some door painting - well, priming. Ran out of primer with quarter of a door left to go. Nuts. Will pick some up next week.

Bargainous sainsbobs shop today. Mr MM had a £4.50 voucher and some of the stuff I needed was on offer. Hoping to have £20 groceries money left over at the end of the month and will inflate a deflated pot with it.

Both kids coats sold on bay of e. Will post off tomorrow using collect plus near work.

Xfactor in a few minutes. :T

Isn't it chilly in the evenings now?? :(
