Hello.
I went to my bank today and checked balance and was shocked to find i was overdrawn by a few quid. I looked and found that T Mobile had taken £ 67 instead of £37 which is my normal total.
Got home and checked T Mobile online acc and in the itemised bill part i found they had charged me £29 for early termination fee on 14/06/2012.I did call them and went through the tinking of leaving bit but no good offers so i got a PAC and i asked 3 times will i be charged and 3 times was told no charge at all.
I checked my bill i got from them on 16/05/2012 and there was mention of ETF and the amount to be DD was about £38.
I rang them today and they denied everything and that as i asked for PAC they can charge me. Well i argued and asked to be put over to somebody higher and when on hold got "cut off".To annoy me more she said that when i do use the PAC i will have to another months rental upfront even though i have no phone number with them.
Are they trying it on or is this correct. By the way I have now gone over my agreed overdraft so have to pay loads more.

T-Mobile are at it again I see, have a look at the links in post #9, ring them again, explain your situation to them again and you should get your money back.0 -
Here is an update of what did or did not happen.
Requested PAC on 15/5/12 and checked my bill dated 14/5/12 and it was my normal amount to be debited.
To my horror when i went to my bank to find i was overdrawn because they had charged me ETN of £29.05 and when i got home checked online and they had issued a new bill for £67 and was never told.
Rang them and after beeing passed from 1 to another cs agent finally was told the fee was wrong and they would put the money back into my BANK. They never did.
Ordered new phone and ported number over on 15/6/12. My port was completed yesterday and this morning i got an email saying my last TMobile bill is ready.
Bill breakdown is;
Amount charged £67.68Credit amount - £29.05 from last bill
Gesture of goodwill 8/6/12 - £29.05
Payment received 4/6/12 by Direct Debit - Thank you - £67.68
Your latest billOutstanding balance - £29.05
Your monthly plan charges £30.88
New charges this month outside plan £0.19Your new balance £2.02VAT charged at 20% on £31.07 £6.21Amount due £8.23.
I dont understand why i have been charged VAT on a months rental when i only had a line for 4 days max and need a bit of advice before i call them about this.

As my account was in credit after they wrongly charged me ETN and then credited me back the money as a "gesture of goodwill" i didnt think VAT was payable on a minus balance.
As i only had 3 days use of a months rental as my line has now ported over i think they should only charge me 3 days rental plus VAT.
Monthly rental is 30.88 divided by 30 days is £1.03 X 3 = £ 3.09 + 0.19 calls + VAT = £3.94.
I should receive some money back then ?0 -
IMO they have to refund you with £29.05-£3.94=...
However don't understand how you could have had 3 days use as the PAC was requested on the first day of the billing month and lasted for 30 days.0 -

In my update post there was a balls up with using pac. Requested a new one and used it and my number was ported over on 18/06/12 early in the morning.
That would make 3 days use of my monthly rental.
Maybe the bill was made up before my number ported.0
