Slow Cooker vs Football

Thanks goodness I found a (the??) bloke who doesn't like football.:T
I think you deserve a medal for putting up with him!!!
Go on quidco, build up some points and spend it on yourself.
I know what women are like in our situations, we never spend on ourselves without putting ourselves through hell feeling guilty about it, so I am guessing you won't enjoy spending the money if you know it should really be going on the overdraft - men however, don't seem to have a problem with the concept where football is concerned (ex was an avid fan)!
Freecycle is definitely worth a go and also Mum picked up a brand new slow cooker in the charity shop for £3 last week so might be worth keeping your eyes open here.
You, of course, will then feel guilt free:A
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Oh dear. I feel really bad now as I feel that in my strop I may have rather maligned my poor DH

He is a season ticket holder at Luton (the arsenal game was a one off) and to be fair it is the only thrill he has. Neither of us go out much, so we don't really have much money going out that way. The football gets him out of the house, and is some recompense for the fact he works one day every weekend to get overtime to help us out of our dire debt.
Oh, I'm a bad wifey
Still, a slow cooker would still be nice!

Well then, you make sure you have a nice one off night out as well - or get your slow cooker just as soon as you have the money. Sorry, thought the @rse...nal thing was a regular event. Oh well, we all like a moan, and better moan on here than moan at him! But as the quote goes, football is not a matter of life or death... it's far more important than that!0

Tell him to get a job as a Steward. I do this at the Baggies and I now get to watch the match and get paid for it. Here's the best bit - DH stays at home!!
By the way Argos have got some really good slow cookers for about £15!We finally did it! Debt free 28/6/10 :T  :T :beer:0 -
