    It was in the letter, but my brother-in-law checked with FIL.

    FIL does get to see the children. He's just not allowed to take them places on his own because she's most likely to turn up on him and even he's not sure how he'd be able to handle it. He doesn't see them as often as he used to, but he still sees them once a week or so. Usually he joins my husband or brother-in-law when they take them riding.

    He is the one I feel most sorry for as well. His whole life has imploded.
