Hi ladies

We are getting married in October 2015 in Preston. I like to think im a highly organised bride. I have everything that needs to be booked, done. I have my dress, shoes, bridesmaids shoes, centrepieces, hair pieces, bridemaid dresses are being made and lots of other things that i'll not bore you with!

I agree with this! We got the last available Saturday in August for our venue but all the others we looked at had hardly any (if any) Saturdays and Fridays left! x

So have booked to be measured for my dress for end of next month but now I may have lost one of my bridesmaids! Argh! Always a bad thing that follows the good! Xxx

Edited to add - bespoke superman cake topper and flowers deposits paid today eek just under 10 months to go xxx

A groom here! September 2015 for my fiancee and me!

So far we've booked:
Venue, humanist, photographer, cake, her make up artist, band and she's even found and paid the deposit on her dress!

Few other details sorted too!

Best bit of advice I can give.. band.. if your having one, heard one you like, then book ASAP!

Oh and our rings have been made too!

Very wedding productive day today, finishing cutting invites and am putting them together with the bridesmaids next week ordered my wedding dress and petticoat and chosen our wedding rings. Also finalised bms presents and flowers and cake topper and trying to organise monthly payments for photographer and venue so excited xxx

Im having a nightmare with invites!!!
Im getting married in a castle looking priory, and I am saying my I Dos at the top of the bell tower which means we can only have 65 people attend the ceremoniay, so I have said family only to the day and friends at night, however i have had an old friend being really nasty that they thought we where good friends and will never forgive me if they are not at the daytime?
Who does that!!! I havent seen her in over 8 years and she has never met HTB
Am I alone in in this? or are other people getting invention issues?

I am so excited about the wedding so I have decided not to invite her at all.
What about everyone else, how do you deal with the hic-ups politely lol

So quick update - Wedding is June 2015 and I have booked:
Venue
Registrar
Band for the evening
Wedding rings (paid for)
Hairdresser and MUA
Cake
Photographer
Dress appt booked for next month.
Florist spoken to and we're touching base in Jan Next year.

I need to get on with sorting out the bridesmaids as we all live in completely different areas of the country and herding them together is going to me like tacking errant sheep!

Also a bit heartbroken as we have discovered out registrar won't let us use the traditional "for better for worse" vows even though they allow it in the next county over to us.

Invites are Kind of sorted. We got hold of some free to print templates and have since discovered that we can have them printed in bulk at the OHs workplace so it saves a bit of faffing about on that side of things.
