I'm getting married in 2014 and just booked the venue, the registra's website says we can't book them until 12 months in advance so will have to wait till April to be able to book them.

So I've nearly got the same waiting time as you, I have been engaged for 3 years though lol

    Steph xx

Wow I wrote this post nearly 2 years ago! I've got 26 days to go now it's gone so fast :)

  • We're June 2015. When we started booking stuff we were pretty surprised at how far in advance some people book (we started looking at venues last year and some were already booked 2 years in advance!!! Now I;ve got he venue and photographer booked, the band sorted, I need to go dress shopping :D
Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!?
  • Heya fellow 2015 brides :D
Paid the deposit on the venue last Friday so all feels very real now.
30th May 2015 it seems so far away but everyone keeps telling me how quickly it will come round.
    Things sorted so far:
    Date
    Venue
    Paid deposit
    Photographer provisionally booked

Got my to do list of things left but it's way to long to put on here. Might start a seperate thread

My mum and sister want to brain storm invite ideas with me this week and got a few in my head from the national weding show that liked. Just have to try and get the template sorted to make them ourselves.

    Good Luck everyone.

Hey all! I'm in september 2015! Less than 18 months now! Eeek.. Time does fly by!

Got : Chapel booked, venue booked and deposit paid, photographer booked, band and dj booked, church singer booked and deposit paid.

Next on my list is to find a decent florist for some flowers and thats all the main things booked.
In Ireland, things are booked up so early! I've no idea how people can say they planned things in less time cos its so difficult here to get bookings made!
