Considering the prize was worth £1000 - I think £25 is a real kick in the teeth.
But i suppose technically they didnt have to give you anything as you accepted their offer for your friends to go,
I wouldnt have accepted that in the first as T & C state prize non transferrable.
    - 3. Entry limited to one per person. The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the NGN reserves the right to redraw the prize.

So the sun broke thier own T & Cs anyway, that says what kind of outfit they are - yet they make millions it just doesnt make sense.

I think that's quite insulting, offering a £25 voucher, as if to "shut you up". But what can you do, really? I'm pleased they finally gave you some kind of compensation though, well done for not letting them get away with it.

I don't think it makes your motive look grubby at all. It probably felt like a result, because you forced them to do something. Ok, it's still mean, but given they did give the original prize to your friends, at least they've now kept their word and given you something. It's something to show for your fight. So well done you for a victory - ok, a small victory, but still a win :T

the poster's friends got to enjoy the prize did they not? so why was something extra 'due'? i can understand being upset that a wheelchair could not be accommodated but the issue seemed to very quickly move from being one about equality to something much more selfish. sorry but for me forgetting a point of principle to pocket a £25 voucher is pretty shabby. sorry if that offends and i'll drop it now but you did ask.
