Thanks nottoolate. I have asked for their complaints procedure which bet I don't get and then I will complain and cc the relivant authorities in.

Just can't believe after all the complaints they have received they are still up and running.

Well I used their form as well as sending a letter asking for their complaints procedure. I got the below response.

You're only recourse is letters then. So, golden rules.

1) if they dare to visit, remember, they have as much legal right on your property as the paper boy. Tell them to swivel and shut the door.

2) Do not carry on with stupid emails to moronic CSA's, write, hard-copy. In law, emails dont count. You need to play the legal long game here and that means gathering evidence. Let them hang themselves.

3) They clearly have about as much understanding of the law in this matter as your average teddy bear. Treat them like mushooms. You have done all you legally can and they can bluster all they like but they're not getting anywhere. If they are stupid enough to take you to court, they'll loose, but only if you have the evidence and enough brass neck to defend yourself.

4) Keep an keen eye on the situation. They'll do allot more blustering before they go the court route, but you need to be warned when they do.

5) How old is this bloody debt anyway? And how much is it for?

There's not much more that you can do. If they refuse your proposed payment, demand money you dont have and then call, email, visit and generally make your life miserable, they're in breach of the law. Stick to your guns and dont be frightened.

The debt is only a few months old it was £400 it is now £1148.
