The law of Torts and County court is based on several bedrock principles of Common Law, one of them is you can not claim for which you have refused.
As long as your DMP factors in payment and if they refuse this they have little chance of obtaining a CCJ if defended correctly and even so, the CCJ can then be factored back in to the DMP for an agreed payment, the fees can be defended as unlawful penalties and not taxed losses.

OK you have email, email them and on email settings you can get automatic response once its recieved and read (keep these). Also, Email FSA and OFT all letters, emails after you have initiated a complaint. Another, step I used is have a contact email at OFT and CC them as you ask for the complaint (they will see you are initiating complaints).
If they do call you on the phone (what I have started doing is recording all communications I have with people on the phone) they notifiy you they might be recording, then you notify them YOU ARE RECORDING. Seriously, I have had complaints go to high level complaints with a few banks. Also, 2 DCA's will not speak to me on he phone. It is classic (as I have recoridngs of them saying (when they think I can't hear as they think they have me on hold)) this guy does record us. they actually hang up.

SKYPE really is handy for recording them. especially when you play it back to their complaints department (they really go silent).
Thats is why I hope they start CCJ proceedings.

    Hi AwayinChina

Email doesn't work with these guys as the email addresses that they use don't accept incoming emails you have to submit a question on a form to which you have no back up. To further add to this if you start quoting the law or use certain words it errors out so letter is the only route!!! Once I am out of this debt I will pay for a large advert in national newspaper warning how bad this company is!!

I am sure you will find they do have an email address, they just hide it well. Also, they will have a list of directors etc and be registered at companies house (emails sometimes are on there). if you dig deep enough you will find.
Also, if you get your credit reoprt it will show you who actually owns the debt (this bunch may be a third party dealing on the behalf of) then you email everything to the company that owns the debt.
There are a few tricks you can still do.

Toothfairy covers many companies so Marshall Hoarse are the same company as Speed credit who the debt is owed to they are not a third party company, technically they are different companies registered at the same address.

Trust me I have tried every email I can find they are all set to not receive incoming emails you have to fill out the form. So it's letter only.
